Art Camp 3: Landscapes
About this course
Below is the entirety of the Art Camp 3 course. It's broken up into weekly segments, but since the course is self directed you're free to take things at your own pace. Since we're doing this course live this summer, there will be students trying to keep up, so do your best to not fall behind. If you do, just move on to the current week and you can always go back and catch up later. :) Good luck and happy painting!

Let's break it all down.
The Fundamentals of Landscapes
For this first week of Art Camp 3, we're going to break down landscapes to their essential components. We're going to look in depth at the specific fundamentals that landscapes rely on to be succesful and start doing exercises to push those abilities.
There's a lot of repetitive work this week, but we need to drill this lesson in because it's so incredibly important. Everything we're doing in this course for the next few months is built on this basic lesson.
Each of these studies should probably take you 15-30 minutes. If in doubt, err on the slow side. These are not supposed to be done quickly. Take your time and get those values right. If something looks off, stop yourself, analyze, and correct the values.
